Throughout his career, Yaniv has demonstrated the ability to orchestrate multidisciplinary R&D projects, translate ideas into products, and scale them successfully to mass production. Yaniv has written 20 patents plus 8 additional PCT-approved patents for Tevel.
Prior to Tevel, Yaniv was the originator and leader of various successful IAI-Elta-programs (Israel Aerospace Industries). He was recognized as the Factory Manager Honoree in 2016 and as a candidate for MAFAT IMOD Innovation Award in
2016 (“Israeli DARPA”). Prior to ELTA, Yaniv was the VP of R&D at Lumio Inc., an advanced vision systems company developing optical touch-screens solutions. Previously, Yaniv was the Algorithm and Electronics Team Leader at VKB, a startup company that developed and produced virtual laser keyboards. This technological achievement received the prestigious CES Innovation Award in 2007.
Yaniv holds a BSc in computer engineering and ME in systems engineering from the Technion.
